Young Adult | Romantic Suspense

I’m an Indiana native whose work is rooted in the soil of my small‑town upbringing. The friendships, fears, and rhythms of ordinary life woven through my stories come from lived experience—moments felt deeply, not invented.
I write at the charged intersection of romance and thriller, exploring themes of survival, healing, and desire through emotionally complex characters and high‑stakes relationships. My narratives are shaped by a lifetime of love, loss, and resilience, reflecting the true stories that have marked my own journey as a husband, father, and grandfather.
In 9 Days of Summer, I wanted to capture the fragile beauty of adolescence in a place and time that feels both specific and timeless—the weathered front porches, backyard games, and first loves that define youth before loss reshapes it. It’s a story about memory and passage, about the people who mark us forever and the summers that never really end.
In All That Remains, I bring my signature blend of psychological depth and lyrical prose to a haunting tale of guilt, devotion, and the blurred boundaries between protector and suspect. The result is a novel that lingers long after the last page is turned—a testament to the power of storytelling to illuminate the darkest corners of the human heart.

Fifteen-year-old Tobin O’Hagan thinks he knows exactly how his summer will unfold: lazy afternoons, Wiffle Ball games, and long days spent with his best friend, Kevin, and the girl who constantly blurs the line between friendship and something more, Sammi. But what begins as another carefree season in small-town Indiana quickly spirals into a series of adventures that test their courage, loyalty, and hearts. From mischievous backyard escapades to a secret cave hidden beyond the old quarry, their days are filled with laughter, tension, and moments they’ll never forget. Yet when tragedy shatters their world, Tobin must confront the grief, guilt, and questions that follow—about love, fear, and what it truly means to grow up. Set in the summer of 1987, 9 Days of Summer is a nostalgic coming-of-age story that blends humor, heartbreak, and the bittersweet glow of youth. It’s about the friends who shape us, the summers that define us, and how even the shortest season can last a lifetime.

When renowned psychotherapist Dr. Megan Freeman sits down with convicted murderer Liam Marshall, she expects a story of guilt and remorse. What she uncovers instead is a confession that defies reason—and a love story that should never have existed.
Through a series of intense, intimate prison interviews, Liam recounts how his life unraveled after hiring Ella, a young woman desperate to escape a violent marriage. What began as mentorship turned to obsession, then to something more dangerous: a connection that blurred every line of ethics, desire, and truth.
As Megan digs deeper into their bond, she realizes the real question isn’t who killed whom—but what people will do in the name of love, redemption, and freedom.
A psychological thriller about the stories we tell to survive—and the ones we bury to be free.
